The Jerboa family is a very interesting group of rodents which have adapted themselves to living in both hot and cold deserts.

Jerboas are highly successful desert animals. They can live in both hot and cold deserts and survive without having to drink water. True, they are strange looking animals, but their strange appearance is the result of their adaptation to the arid conditions of desert life.
