Larissa is currently studying the IB diploma at Godolphin and Latymer school. She has always had a keen passion for environmental affairs and this was first sparked by reading Al Gore’s ‘An Inconvenient Truth'.
Her particular interest lies in sustainable development, a topic she believes to be key to the future in enabling developing countries to industrialise in a way that doesn’t further compromise the Earth.
At Godolphin she currently runs ‘Worldwise Club’, a geography society for younger girls that aims to improve their general knowledge and introduce them to some of the key challenges of the 21st century.
She also enjoys acting in school plays and is an avid reader of adventure literature, her all-time favourite being ‘Walking the Nile’ by Levison Wood. She hopes that being part of YPTE will give her the opportunity to influence her generation's awareness and engagement towards environmental issues.
