Young people aged 8-18 will soon have the opportunity to show how much they care about our environment by taking part in the Young People's Green Awards.

The Young People's Green Awards (YPGA) will enable young people to combine their interest in caring for the natural world with their natural talents to create truly amazing and inspiring projects.  For example, you might be a great young writer, musician, artist, photographer, film-maker or scientist.

YPGA will give you the chance to do whatever you're best at, while considering what it is about our planet that you find so amazing.  Or it could be your chance to tell us what worries you most about what we humans are doing to our planet and what we should be doing to make things better.

YPGA is open to entries from individual young people.  Projects submitted will be done at home/ in your own time, not at school.

Winners will receive a special 'Eco Adventure' holiday for themselves and a friend of their choice, organised by the Young People's Trust for the Environment (YPTE), as well as a cash prize!

YPGA will launch later this year.  If you are interested in taking part in YPGA (remember you have to be aged 8-18 and living in the UK to do so) and you would like us to keep you informed, please click on the link below and complete and submit the form that pops up.    Make sure you have permission to do this from your parent or guardian first.  You can use their email for us to contact you with, if they would prefer this.  We'll send you updates by email to keep you in the loop as we get closer to launch.
