Team - Roxanna Shah-Evans

Rocky is a lower sixth student at Godolphin and Latymer, London. She is taking the IB diploma programme with Geography, Art and English at Higher Level, and Biology, Maths and Italian at Standard Level. She would love to study Geography and Economics or Architecture at university.  In the summer of 2019 Rocky embarked on a 24 day expedition to Malaysia and Borneo. She worked at a turtle conservation site where her team ensured safety for turtle nests and hatchlings, and cleared the beach of bleached coral and plastic rubbish. After having seen rainforest  destruction first hand, Rocky now encourages people to avoid products containing palm oil.

Rocky’s love for her home of London has fuelled a passion for ensuring sustainability within cities. She wants to help introduce more green spaces to urban areas around the world and promote developments to use smart and recycled materials - an effort keep our air and oceans clean.

As a young trustee Rocky hopes to influence young people today to make small changes in their daily lives in order to make our planet a better place to live.
